Feel Like You're a Part of the House: Superpass Connects CBS' Big Brother Fans With More Social Features This Season

  • RealNetworks' SuperPass now integrates access to social networks, like Twitter and Facebook, to keep fans up-to-date on latest developments

SEATTLE — July 9, 2009 — RealNetworks® (NASDAQ: RNWK) SuperPass is again joining CBS to provide exclusive All Access live streaming video from the 11th season of Big Brother. Building upon the success of previous seasons, SuperPass will be hosting a number of exciting new community features like live call-in and video shows with previous houseguests and the opportunity for fans of the show to stay connected to the latest feed discussion via TwitterFacebookMySpace and YouTube, providing a truly interactive experience.

The webcast coverage debuts immediately following tonight's premiere and will be accessible through the official Big Brother Web site at ( and Real's SuperPass subscription service at New this season, SuperPass subscribers will have access to:

  • Integrated social media elements which this year including Twitter, Facebook, MySpace and YouTube properties, in addition to last season's chat, message board and blog features (also available this season).

  • A live audio call-in show every Thursday and Friday.

  • A weekly interactive live video show with special guests.

  • The All Access video stream (available once the show launches tonight) providing an enhanced quad-cam view which allows fans to watch four different video feeds simultaneously, in addition to last season's option of watching one of four live camera feeds from inside the Big Brother house.

  • An exclusive, subscribers-only web chat room that allows fans from across the country to talk about the latest developments.

  • A new feature called Flashback, which provides full feed archives from the current season eleven and season ten, so subscribers can on demand access any moment they may have missed.

  • Other exclusive content, including interviews with previous houseguests, coverage of past season finales, and video interviews and other coverage of the Rainbow Reality Reunion from May 2009.

Big Brother follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with dozens of cameras and microphones recording their every move 24 hours a day. Each week the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguests will receive the grand prize of $500,000. Big Brother returns for its 11th season today (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT), on the CBS Television Network.
