Alltel Wireless and RealNetworks Announce "RealArcade Mobile Laptop Giveaway" Promotion.

Customers can enter to win portable gaming devices, Laptop with GamePass subscription by downloading any of Real's mobile games at the Alltel Shop

SEATTLE and LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — September 25, 2008  —  Alltel Wireless, America's largest network, and the Games Division of digital entertainment services company RealNetworks®, Inc. (NASDAQ:  RNWK) today announced the launch of "RealArcade® Mobile Laptop Giveaway," a promotion to excite and educate Alltel subscribers about the availability of Real's popular online, PC and Mac games on their mobile handsets.The Lifetime Presents series featured Sally's Salon at its debut — hitting 300,000 downloads in the first month on The popularity of this addictive game begs to answer the question posed by a reporter in July: "Do women really want games about spas?" It appears the verdict is in.

"Alltel is always looking for new ways to engage our customers, and RealNetworks is offering a unique promotion to help people discover the fun games available on their Alltel Wireless phones," said Kristi Crum, director of data and content services for Alltel Wireless.

Now through October 31st, subscribers can download any of the 12 Real mobile games offered on Alltel Shop and will automatically be entered to win one of six prizes.  The Grand Prize winner will receive an Ultimate Gaming Laptop, equipped with a complimentary year's GamePassTM subscription at  Five runners-up will win a Nintendo® DSTM loaded with a copy of the award-winning game "Super Collapse!® 3", originally developed by Real's own GameHouse® Studios.  For more information on the sweepstakes, customers can visit
